and is therefore a popular holiday destination

thousands of people from every corner of the planet.

located almost everywhere around the island.
However, new year is peak season and
if you want to join us at the Experience,
we recommend that you book your
accomodation well in advance.

the festival (bring your own tent).

for your stay on Koh Tao.

How to reach the festival?
Travelling in and around Thailand is fairly easy
and the transport services are usually
running
very regularly and smoothly.
However, keep in mind that the festival will be
during peak season, so again we recommend that
you
should plan your travels as soon as you can,
and try to give yourself some
extra travel time in case of delays.
Getting to Koh Tao there are
several choises of travel.
Fly from any airport in Thailand
to Koh Samui or Suratthani.

Travel by train or bus
to Chumpon or Suratthani.
From these destinations and the neighbouring islands
of Koh Phangan and Koh Samui there are several
ferry services
running daily to and from Koh Tao.

You can book a
"joint ticket" from most
major travel agencies
around Thailand.
These tickets include
all
transport from
wherever you are in Thailand.
Once you arrive on Koh Tao,
The Experience Festival is located in the "Magic Garden"
halfway between Mae Haad pier and Chalok Ban Kao.
To get there you can simply follow our signs or
ask any taxi driver to bring you to the venue.
Safety on and around the festival
We offer a 24h free shuttle service
from the parking area
at the bottom of the hill,
close to the main road, up to the festival location.
For your own safety
NO motorbikes
will be allowed on this steep road.
First aid will be available at the festival,
however it is advisable to use sunscreen
and
drink plenty of water throughout your stay.
Also, use
mosquito repellent when necessary.
REMEMBER
Drugs are illegal in Thailand!
There are very strict laws about
possession and trafficking of narcotics.
Let the music be your drug!
